Up Close and Visible - a selection of Newstead Artefacts is a new museum exhibit full of Roman treasures not previously seen outside the National Museum in Edinburgh. Come to the Three Hills Roman Heritage Centre and explore this interactive display that contains Parade helmets, Cavalry equipment, Luxuries, Jewellery and Beliefs.

Original Parade Helmet - A unique and beautiful Roman Helmet found by James
Curle in the 1905 -10 dig returns to Melrose and currently forms the centrepiece of the Museum's exhibits.
Meeting the Ancestor - The face of a Roman soldier - 'Trimontium Man'
reconstructed from his skull, found in 1846,
can be seen in the Museum.
